Pamelia Kurstin – the untouchable music

I’ve never seen anyone play the theremin quite like this before – around 2.50mins she starts playing *Double Bass* lines on it – and such concentration – wow. from www.ted.com

 

Oh, and she’s on John Zorn’s label too :)

    There is hope for air guitarists yet!

    Found her comments about needing controlled movements interesting – can’t just rock like a “slaroiund and carry on playing when your instrument is the air.

    Would be interesting to be able to define unque air intrunemts – a “slap bass violin”

    It’s not as subtle as a theremin (just note on/not off) but it looks pretty swizzy.
